ARIZONA HEALTH CARE COST CONTAINMENT SYSTEM (AHCCCS)
AHCCCS provides several health care insurance plans that provide medical coverage for doctor’s office visits, physical exams, immunizations, prenatal care, hospital care and prescriptions. Individuals, pregnant women, and children who have little or no income, live in Arizona, and are U.S. citizens or qualified non-citizens may be eligible.
Arizona Department of Health Services Pregnancy and Breast Feeding Hotline:
Baby Arizona is a simple, faster way for pregnant women to apply for AHCCCS medical coverage. Your first prenatal visit will be with a doctor who participates in the Baby Arizona program. Office staff will assist you in applying for AHCCCS medical coverage. Through Baby Arizona women usually receive care while their application is being processed.
